Music’s gain came at a loss for cricket. As a young man growing up in the beautiful vale of Kashmir, Inder was pulled in separate directions by his passion for the sport of cricket and his ardent love for music. Having successfully represented the state of J&K at the Ranji Trophy level, he chose to pursue his passion for singing melodies of the golden era of Hindi cinema.

The uncanny resemblance of his voice to Mohammed Rafi soon made him popular in the musical fraternity. He has an inimitable knack for sounding like the original maestros, from Rafi, Kishore, Mukesh, Manna De, Hemant Kumar and others.

Won several awards at DD Srinagar, Inter school competitions as well as College and university.

Inder is a qualified Electrical engineer working as software development leader in a reputed organization in Canada. He is a family man who enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two lovely daughters. In his spare time, he loves to enthrall his friends with his melodious singing.

Over the years, he has performed at various venues, both in India and in Canada.

Tejaswita

Tejaswita has been singing since early childhood years and was always the winner of the musical events organized during her school and college days. While she was in India she performed regularly on stage and won various awards, accolades and recognition.

Tejaswita won a nationwide competition and was selected from thousands of aspiring singers to sing for the famous T series music company where she recorded songs along with Kumar Sanu, Babla Mehta and Vipin Sachdeva. 

Tejaswita’s heart was always more inclined towards performing arts despite having an educational background in Electronics Engineering. She is a trained theatre actor too, who got her training  from non other than the famous theatre Guru Barry John. She has acted in someTele serials and also in a few plays on stage. 

Along with singing and acting, Tejaswita also worked with All India Radio, New Delhi and later with Radio New York as a presenter of popular music shows. She has been a popular Radio Show host with few Indian Radio Stations in Vancouver lower mainland Canada namely Radio India, Spice Radio, Radio Rimjhim, Radio Punjab, for more than a decade. 

Tejaswita has another feather in her cap as a writer too. During the Covid lock down times , she started writing about those special songs from the Hindi cinema that strike a chord in her for some interesting reason like poetic excellence, wonderful orchestra arrangements or the filming genius. For the sheer pleasurable way of her writing, her song blog series on Facebook called ‘Ye Wala Yaad Hai?’ earned her hundreds of readers who enjoyed, admired and appreciated her writing skills.

Tejaswita is also a poetess who weaves her vivid experiences and expressions into beautiful pieces of poetry. 

Vijay

Vijay Srivastava is a passionate musician who believes that music has the power to change the world. He was born and brought up in Kanpur, India, in a musical family where he learned Indian classical music from his father, Vimal Srivastava, who was a renowned classical singer.

Despite studying electrical engineering at Allahabad University, Vijay continued to pursue his love for music and impressed his peers with his ability to sing Bollywood numbers and ghazals, a form of romantic poetry. After working for several IT and engineering organizations in Mumbai, Vijay moved to Ottawa, Canada, in 2000, with his wife Lovina and their two children, Nikhil and Kavya.

In Ottawa, Vijay has been actively promoting Indian music and continues to enthrall audiences with his singing, both in Canada and through digital media worldwide. He believes that music is a universal language that can touch people’s hearts and souls, and his passion for music is evident in his work as a musician and promoter of Indian music.
